Smoke on the water

Hi Keith,
Thanks and glad you like my "Smoke on the Water" lesson! Breaking the solo down into bite size chunks is the best way to learn the licks, so good job here. Let me know if you have any questions with anything in the song.
I also offer live '1 on 1' online guitar coaching here on Guitar Tricks if you need help with this song or any other guitar techniques and concepts. If you are interested, here's the link to book a lesson with me:

Hi Keith,
I just wanted to say that my lesson with Dave he took the time and walked me through the 16th notes part I couldn't get from the video no matter how much I slowed it down. [br][br]
I must admit, it's pretty damn rewarding to play Smoke for a friend the right way, and then truly impress them when you can play the solo note for note too. The phrases are instantly recognizable and if you're on a Strat the neck pickup sounds so good. [br][br]
best of luck on your journey,
wolverine

hey Keith,
Anytime my friend. [br]i thank you for prompting me to dust off this absolute gem of a song. [br][br]
Cheers, (or as Dave might say as his patented catchphrase from previously authored books), ....
