My guitar instructor is lending me Cakewalk Pro Audio 8.0 (I have a CD burner), and i have alot of it down, except that it won't playback, while im recording another track. whats the dealio?

I read the instructions, etc, and everything worked for all the other software's i've tried (btw, cakeware is the best), but i thought it was weird how it doesn't play back...any tips?

i can record and play at the say time, BUT
the stupid cakewalk records the playback on the trach im recording on, again..
i cant figure why , since my sound card supports full duplex
guess ill just switch to cool edit pro 2.

you have to disable the recording, if you know what i mean.

you record a track after you arm it...then you disarm the track once your done recording...then you arm the next track, then you start recording with "Enabled simultaneus playback/recording" on...
