Hi I'm Diane from Massachusetts, at 62 I've decided to teach my self on accustic guitar. I'm really enjoying it so far, hoping to learn from some of you if there are any suggestions as to beginner books that would be great. I'm using half Leonard's book 1 at this point.

Hi Diane and a warm welcome to you.

You may get some suggestions for books but, in my opinion, you shouldn't need any.

Guitar Tricks has you covered for almost everything.

If you get stuck on anything there is always a tutor on hand and, of course, forum members.

You can always come for a general chat as well. How you are getting on etc.

I wish you lots of success, fun and enjoyment.

Kind regards

Joe.

Hi Diane and welcome

I would agree with Joe in that the site does provide a great level of support for beginners. Have you looked through the Beginners section of the site?

Beginners Section

From there you can progress into a variety of styles and of course study the song tutorials as well.

This year the diet is definitely gonna stick!
