Hi there,

You can get by with grabbed a cheap, starter guitar from Epiphone, Takamine, Squier, etc. I would advise to go to your nearest guitar shop and taking a look! This is a tough question because guitars feel different for everyone and everyone has their preferences.

For the first guitar, to learn the basic, I'd look for something on Sale for less than $300 at Guitar Center, or look around in pawn shops for deals. I'd spend a year or so learning the basic chord, strums, and scales. I definitely believe it helps to have a resource such as Guitar Tricks guide you through the learning process.

Once you've got some basics down, and want to branch out and play with other people, then I'd start looking around at Guitar shops. The most important thing is having an instrument to play. Spend time doing it. Be able to pick up an instrument and play, even if it's an instrument you bought for $10 at a garage sale.

As I understand it, $ 300 per guitar is very expensive.[br]I found the Fender FA-115 for $ 130 on Amazon, and the Yamaha FG800 for 160 on BestAdvisor, the Epiphone PR-150 costs 339 on Amazon[br]I think this is an affordable price for a new guitar. I am more concerned about the question of what to choose. Can I order a guitar online? You say that each one has his own preference, but in the store I can’t distinguish a quality product from a fake and they will just sell me something more expensive.
