Hi Dave,
I just wanted to say thank you for making a great lesson of Jimi's version of All Along The Watchtower, I'm looking forward to getting stuck into learning this song.
Thanks 'fuzzb0x'! Hendrix's version of "All Along The Watchtower" is one of the biggest requests I get from students and I jumped on the chance to teach it here on Guitar Tricks.
Let me know if you have any questions with anything in the song, and I offer live online '1 on 1' lessons here on Guitar Tricks if you need additional help. Here's the link if you are interested in booking a lesson with me:

Thanks Dave, this is a song I've wanted to learn for a long time, I've tried in the past to learn it from a book but I find the video lessons a much easier way to learn, I'm working on the lead guitar verse section at the moment, it's a fair chunk of licks to remember so I'm sticking with that section until I know it without looking at the tab before I move on.
Although the Verses are the same three chords "C#m, B, A/C#, B" repeated, Jimi never plays exactly the same each time. If it's too much to memorize all the different licks, find one or two 2-bar chuncks and repeat them for the entire Verse.
