Is it just me, or am I perhaps missing something?
The chords do not have the lyrics, and the lyrics section does not have the chords.
Why in the world is that -- I have really struggled with this.
It seems like that makes it much harder than it needs to be.
I am new here and trying to get some good use out of the site but keep just going back to ulitmate-guitar.com where sanity seems to rule.

GT started consistently including the chords with the lyrics around mid-2016. I think any song lessons newer than that will have a 'chord chart.'
Thanks for the reply, I looked at some newer ones and I see what you are referring to.
I was actually talking about the 'Jam Along' section -- it would just seem to be much eaisier to keep up with exactly where you are at in it that way.
I am considering checking out JamPlay to see if they do it differently.

Picky is a good thing when playing guitar. 
It can also help GT improve. Prior to the addition of song lesson chord charts there were Forum posts asking for the improvement. The same goes on today with players asking for improvements in the site and lessons. Change comes slowly but it does come. Those that yearn for a particular change have to keep asking, recruit others to the idea and be patient.

I just joined myself...and I am really surprised that the lyrics aren't shown on the sheet music. The primary point for me to learn is to sing the songs as I learn to play the guitar. This makes it much more difficult (for me).
