Hi. I'm new on this forum. Maybe somebody can recommend me a good acoustic guitar?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

My favourite is the Yamaha FG800 or FG830. A fine, easily playable accoustic with a great tone.

I had one of these before I went electric. My daughter now has it and is very pleased with it.

Others to consider would be Taylor Academy 12e or Fender CD-60s.

I'm sure others will have their recommendations but I thought I would kick off the discussion.

Welcome to you and best of luck in your guitar learning journey.

"good acoustic guitar" is so personal it's difficult to recommend one. What I might love you might dislike and vice versa. Much of the preference depends on tone and, of course, music genre. Another very important criteria is going to be budget which you didn't mention. If you give us an idea of budget, it will help others make appropriate suggestions.

I'm confident Joe's recommendations are excellent ones. I'm also guessing that his is recommending what would be consider "starter" guitars since you are new here.

The acoustic I am lusting after right now is the Martin 000-28EC Guitar. It is the Eric Clapton signature. It plays and sounds incredible. But it is a little higher end than what would be considered starter. And I've come to realize I have a LOT more domestic PR work to get done before this is going to happen.
