I have some fun news everyone!

For months we have been working really hard on a brand new acoustic guitar course, and I'm proud to say it is now published here on Guitar Tricks!

Check it out Acoustic Level 1: https://www.guitartricks.com/course.php?input=acoustic1

So many of you have requested a dedicated section in the Core Learning System focused on acoustic guitar, and Anders Mouridsen did a wonderful job bringing the idea to life.

There are so many fun techniques that make the acoustic guitar special, from all the styles of strumming to percussive techniques and fingerpicking.

This new course is beginner-focused and should be completed after Fundamentals 1 and 2, and we will soon release a Acoustic Level 2 for more intermediate and advanced players. The Level 2 course has already been shot and is in-edit.

Have fun with the course, and thank you Anders for doing such a fastastic job!

The new course looks great Ben, acoustic guitar is my weakest area so this is just what I need to progress in those skills.

Thank you very much for the new content.

I've been hoping to dive deeper into Acoustic guitar, especially finger picking, but was a little bit disappointed that there was no nicely paced Acoustic course like that of Blues, Country, and Rock.

I'm so glad that Acoustic has been officially added into your Core Learning System!

So I'm working through this course and it seems to be missing jam tracks for the play-throughs. Please look into this.

Hi there!

Thanks for pointing this out. Could you tell us which lesson you saw that was missing a Jam track? We're also looking into this ourselves and will be fixing it soon!

The fist two play-throughs for example.

Have just finished the level 1 Acoustic course. Wow! I have worked through all the modules, getting each one down before moving onto the next. I feel it has really improved my playing - lots of new knowledge and technique. Anders is a great teacher. I thoroughly recommend this course. Thank you!

Oh, level 1 is for me, thank you I will check it. I am so so beginner, I don't know from where should I start. But when I was writing my essay, to be clearer when I got it from https://ca.edubirdie.com/ I decided I could take some tutors/courses from such services. So, firstly I checked it, but I found this forum and choosing the guitar on eBay)

If you're a beginner, we suggest you start with the Fundamentals here: https://www.guitartricks.com/beginner.php
