Two weeks ago I saw a guitar and the bug bit me so hard that I bought it. This week I subscribed to Guitar Tricks. Maybe I just need to looking at guitars My guitar is an electric, and as I was looking at guitars I saw one I really liked, and Guitar Center had one used in very good condition. Before I knew it I was on the phone to California, and it is now on its way to me. it is a Lucero, LC100 in black, just like my Yamaha Electric. I'll be sitting on pins and needles till it gets here.

Too late now. No turning back.

Let me recount a conversation with my wife earlier this year when I got a new Gretsch: "Ok, that'll be my last guitar. I swear..(pause)...this year." Two months later, I'm buying a Telecaster. So even my 'this year' joke was a lie. This is the road before you...hehe

Though I'm stickin' with my 'this year'. I just bought a house in another state and it's fair to say that resources will be diverted from the guitar fund for a while....... [br][br]

I think I am sticking with "this month". I just saw another guitar that I am sure will wind up in my collection, but so far have resisted the temptation... but by Thanksgiving! it is an acoustic/electric, steel string, travel guitar.

I've had the guitar bug since I was about 13, I'm 61 now and still trying to learn. In the past I've lost faith, become disenchanted or life has just got in the way but now I've retired early and have lots of time on my hands, I'm trying again. The frustrating thing is, that the brain makes sense of things but the fingers don't want to comply but as everyone says stick with it.

As manXcat and JeffS65 have stated, and the short answer is,....."No"

The longer answer is you are now on a path to uncontrollable, demoralizing, obsessive addiction. There is no sense now trying to control it.

The only real next step here is to decide where and how to store multiple guitars. And when I say multiple I mean many.

Wall mount?

Floor stands?

Store them in their cases?

But it is fun!
