RTKdbyu - find the "Old Folks Beginners Thread" on these Forums (just type in "Old Folks" in the search bar)- lots of people your age and older on GT just starting out. The thread is full of inspiration for folks like us, starting out at an advanced age. I just turned 51 and have been playing for 7 months, strumming songs and learning Blues guitar now, never thought that I would ever get to where I'm at and now looking at soooooooooo much more that I want to learn :-) !
