F chord

I'm confused. The chord finder, and the tab that Lisa teaches the F chord are slightly different. One shows the fifth string open, and the other shows strumming the fifth string with the third finger

In the earlier lessons, Lisa teaches the simplified versions of each chord before she shows you how to play the full version. I suggest sticking with it and trust the process. But if you're comfortable playing the full chord, you can do that too. There's nothing wrong with what Lisa teaches you because she'll build upon her lessons as you go on.
