Great job on "Wish You Were Here, D.C.!!

Here's a bit of trivia nobody cares about.......my ex, ex, ex girlfriend actually did the robotic handshake graphics on the outside sticker attached to the original album plastic covering!! Also......during the recording of this album it was the very last time any of the members of Pink Floyd saw Syd Barrett.............and his overweight and bald weird appearance and demeanor freaked the rest of the band out to the point of tears.............Jim C.

One more bit of P.F. trivia, Dave...........it is reported that Syd had zero idea this tune (Wish You Were Here) was actually about him and his sad departure from the band he formulated........from bad psychotic episodes and basically Mad Cow disease (kidding about the Mad Cow of course......but it was all self or drug induced) only a few years earlier. Nobody recognized Syd for quite a spell and thought he was only part of the Abbey Road recording studio team!!! Jim C.

Thanks for sharing more trivia! Yeah, I heard that "Wish You Were Here," a tender song about a close friend, is about Syd. It's sad what drugs can do to a person.
