Hello,

I'm looking for backing tracks for not so common Jazz tunes (like bill Evans "Soulgrass" or Chick Corea "Senor Mouse") Is there a page where you can find backing tacks or perhaps a tutorial hwo you to make your own? Thansk!

Best, Marco

Hi Marco,

We have backing tracks in the Toolbox here: https://www.guitartricks.com/toolbox.php

But the Jam Station is only available to Full Access members.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please contact us.

Cool, but someone forgot the loop function... Having to go back every 2 minutes when jamming is very annoying. Food for thought.

What track are you on? Loops worked in the past and it just worked again now for me.

There's a pretty awesome group of apps called "Session Band" from a group calle "UK Music Apps Ltd".  I picked up the "blues" one since I'm working my way through both of the Blues courses.  They actually just released a Jazz Standards backing app with quite a few classic songs.  Oh - and I believe all of the backing tracks are royalty free.  Pretty sweet.

You are going to have to point out that loop function to me, all I see is jam tracks that last less than a minute and no loop option?

It seems I cannot edit my post as the edit button takes me to an erroe message.

I do however stand corrected, the tracks do loop automatically but it doesn't really help when the tracks are only 40 - 50 seconds and then 5 seconds silence before they restart. A good backing track needs to be 5 to 10 minutes to allow you to get into the feel and start to try some sensible ideas over it.
