Sorry if this is not the correct Thread to post this question on, please point me in the right direction if not.

Heres my problem were moving to an area that does not have cable access. I was at my parents house over the weekend and they only have internet thru the phone system and it was so slow it never connected to guitar tricks. Any suggestions??

The 2nd question I have is the Download option on a lesson doesn't work and also the print feature doesnt work, Does this require a different membership level? I have full access and don't see where there are any other options. Are there only certain lessons that those options are available on? If so how do i find them/?

Thank in advance of any responses.

There are a few things to consider including your operating system and device and your settings. The GT folks should be able to help out and give some advice about it all.

Right now, I can offer you some hope, though. I live in a rural area about 20 miles from Missoula, MT. Western Montana is not a hot bed of blazing internet speed nor availability of cable. I don't have access to cable and have never logged on to Guitar Tricks with anything else other than "thru the phone system." All of my internet access is through DSL. Although the service I pay for is the highest speed available in my area it is very slow compared to DSL in other parts of the country. Still...

Even with the slow DSL speed has never been a concern when on Guitar Tricks. I can't imagine any DSL system unable to properly deliver what GT has to offer. For comparison, as I type this a speedtest shows a download of 6.67Mbps and that's as fast as I ever see yet it pales compared to what I see available in metropolitan areas.

If you don't have DSL, try it out. If you do have DSL and have speed problems, do a speed test and talk to your ISP about settings and options.

Good luck.

This is a super old post that popped up, but figured I'd answer that Licensed Songs have copyright laws and publisher agreements protecting downloads and printing, which is why those options aren't available. :)

I hope your internet speed improved!
