Modern Day Cowboy

Hi Mike -newbie around here :)

I am about to embark on learning Tesla's Modern Day Cowboy as a free choice piece in my Grade 7 Rockschool exam and have been using your transcription to work on it.

As you would know there is one part of the solo that is far more difficult than the rest and based on this video:

Frank Hannon seems to play it in a way that is easier for me at least (and very different) to your transcription. Any chance of an analysis post seeing Frank play it?

Frank is playing a different lick here! I can give you the general idea:

The biggest difference here is that he is using alot of hammer ons and pull offs (legato) instead of picking everything like the recorded version.
