Hi,

I've been taking basic lessons with guitar tricks for a few years. Progressing slowly because of arthritic hands but still enjoying it.

I really want to learn acoustic blues. I know you have excellant lessons done with an electric guitar. I apologize in advance, but I just can't stand the sound of an electric guitar.

(I see there is an acoustic lesson for a 3 chord version of Little Red Rooster but I need just a little more advanced.)

Any suggestions for me?

thanks,

tracy

[p]Many blues tunes, even if taught on electric guitar, can be played with on acoustic. And often with just as much enjoyment!

This link searched the GT songs catalog for Blues & sorted by difficulty.

Some of those are more by Caren with acoustic. Others are great simple blues, maybe taught on electric, but perfectly suited to be played on acoustic. Some might be too simplem but those will still be great practice. Some require more skill, so they might be the challenge you are looking for.[br][br]

I also have some fun blues ideas on acoustic electric. I will be updating some of these later this year! :)

Lisa also has this fun tutorial on acoustic blues.

Hope this helps. Have fun with them!
