Hi

ive been learning guitar for about two months now but can’t seem to get my strumming right.

I get the tempo right D D UDU for instance and make sure my chord is true but it just don’t sound right or like someone else strumming the same pattern. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Tony

Hi anthony,

Could you tell us which song you're using this strum pattern for?

Hey Anthony, sorry you're having strumming trouble, but I am glad to hear that I'm not alone. I've been into fundamentals 1 for 6 months & am really struggling in getting my strumming to sound anything but awful. Really getting frustrated here.

Hey Ssandman

What gauge and material pick are you using for strumming?

On (guitar type)?

Is your string tension OK? (string gauge and neck relief). When they aren't right on an acoustic, although it shouldn't interfere with playing any pattern, it can render the overall timbre dreadful.

[br]Cheers..
