I like that solo, actually both of them are nice but the last one is good. Typical Hammett do, lot of penta liks and those 15p12 and than 12 on B string licks wich he uses pretty often. Me and my band played this song a lot before. We actually played a lot of Metallica like 4 Horsemen, Seek N´ Destroy, Fight Fire..., Bells, Fade, Creeping Death, Battery, Master, Sanitarium, D. Heroes, Orion, Blackned, Justice, One... and almost whole Black Album except 5 last ones.

And the best solo by mr. Hammett (my and Slash´s opinion too actaully) is solo in Disposable Heroes. That one is amazing especially those breaks.
