Pickups

Hey,

I have this guitar made by samick, its a tremello locking system with a set of humbuckers(I think) and me and my brother can not get pinch harmonics out of it. Its not our technique because we can on our other guitars. I was wondering if anybody can inform me why we can't. If it could be to do with the pickups for example.

I've never faced the harmonics problem with humbuckers, but one of my friends had a cheap strat copy and the neck pickup never catches any kind of harmonics (natural/artificial/pinch/tap/etc.)...

May be that's your problem...since you said you have other guitars, try replacing the pickups with one of those you can pinch with it to make sure wether it's a pickup problem or not.
