I've been a typical G-C-D strummer for too long. I WILL learn fingerstyle acoustic ;-) Starting at the beginning to ensure I don't miss anything though. After fundamentals 2 I'm not clear on what path I should take to pursue acoustic fingerstyle? Maybe blues? Any direction or insight would be appreciated.

Hi Musica Hominis,

If you're interested in acoustic playing, you might want to give Blues or Country level 1 a try. I would say that country 1 will probably deal with more acoustic techniques.

Thank you. Do you think Country is the best path to begin learning Fingerstyle?

How about this to begin with?

In it, Lisa teaches fundamental acoustic fingerpicking technique, which is where I'd start if I hadn't played finger style previously.

Cheers!
