Hi,

I have been going through the beginner level 2 material again. In the Master the Bm Barre Chord video with Lisa she states that Bm is the most common barre to be used in the key of D. When I look at the notes in the D Major scale there is no Bm. How does this work? Is there any material on the website?.

Maybe I missed it :-)

Thank you

This should paint the picture. If you look at those common progressions, you'll see Bm appears in three of them.

I'm starting to play a lot of early Beatles material for instance, and barred Bm is a chord at which rapid forming & changing rote proficiency is mandatory. Check out which artists you play for key and progressions they favour.
