Im low on money and I recently bought a >used< Epiphone Studio Les Paul for 399.99$$. And I went to another store and saw a used Standard Les Paul Epiphone for 450.00.

Which one do you recomend I get cause the guitars are in mint shape.......

I think they are identical guitars, the Standard just looks nicer in my opinion.

Just go with whatever guitar sounds and plays best. With these assembly-line guitars, some come out crappy, some come out good. Only way to find out is to play em and compare.

thats what I thought too.

and the Studio one is pretty light I tried a Les PAul black beauty and it seemed pretty heavy.

Any other thoughts or opinions

The name on the headstock means nothing. Close your eyes and play it... then decide.

ok, but the Studio Les Paul I have....when I play the 4th, 5th, 6th string on the 12 fret and higher fret there is A LOT of buzzing.

Comparing to some of the other (better)Guitars I tried that is a lot.

is it normal for getting a immatation guitar to get lotsa buzzing?

It may just need a careful setup, or a bit of fret re-crowning. Get a good tech to look it over.
