How about it for us old guys.

Hi Terry1960
I have/t been on here in months been a little busy but
your bringing back alot of memorys when you mention,
James and Albert.
I did start out in 1961 coping the JB style plus later
on in the 80s got into the albert lee style Ventures ect.
I alwasy thought JB was the the father of bending strings
useing bango strings .I still use the chicken picken style
in some stuff my band plays today.
Anymore we try to cover all styles which makes us work alot
more than other bands. Also i like the rock of today.
Did mess around with the Jerrys stuff but not alot.
I do use a b-bender on my tele plus droped D and G tunings
once in awhile.
I forgot to say i do use the pick and finger style.
I like jazz, blues, rock, southern, rock, and all the new stuff of today encluding the sweep picking styles rakeing ect.Anymore i get to do alot of improv in the band i play with now so after the main hook its go for broke i hate to copy songs or do cover songs .After we kick a song off so the people know what it is or they request it then its
adlib time for me.
My son keeps me up on the Rock of today.
I forgot to mention Guitar tricks has some great rock players up here that i've stole from .

Mark
keep picking but enjoy
