WHICH GUITAR TO CHOOSE?!!!!

HEy ppl! i'm a somewhat beginner. I 've played for about a little over 1yr. 1/2 and i am looking to buy a new guitar. I have an electric and a really CHEAP accoustic. I want to buy a accoustic/electric but i'm not sure which is a good brand or anything i should look out for!! Please help me out! -beginner_g

i have an acoustic/electric and an electric, and i never play my acoustic/electric through an amp, because simply it sounds better played naturally...

but Takamine makes good guitars, same with Guild, some people like Martin, Taylor, some people like Gibson acoustic guitars, etc.

Sounds great off the amp....and if you put it on the amp with a little chorus...It's perfect!!!

Check out Ovation or applause they have a great action (I think they were designed with the eletric player in mind) and sound great played through an amp or without one
