yeah, so i messed up and didn't keep track of string tuning. now it's like trying to play with the end of a mop. either my bridge is at a 90degree angle or it falls inward. how can i get my guitar back in tune?

Sounds like you need your guitar setup for the string guage your using. Buy an electronic tuner! It's essential for a floating trem. plus you can get a decent one for 30 bucks. I use a BOSS TU-12 chromatic tuner(with case). I've had it for 8 years and it has never broken. plus it looks like I bought it just yesterday. There's fancier ones on the market but this does it for me..no need to upgrade.
I started learning guitar because of Randy Rhoads..but Yngwie J. Malmsteen is my biggest influence.

Man floyd roses are bugging me! I have an Ibanez S-370BK with a similar locking trem and it causes a lot of problems with tuning. Sure, it keeps your strings in tune after crazy whammy bends, but I find it hard to setup.

Floyd Rose stile bridges can be a bitch to figure out.
What I recommend is that you check out both http://www.jacksonguitars.com and http://www.jemsite.com , as they both have great info on how to set up these things.
