Are there any exercises that I can do to make these easier, or do I just annoy my neighbors and play G - D7 (etc) over and over until I get it right every time?
learning your fingers between chords
Well... I haven't had trouble moving between the "close" chords (like, Em, Am, E, A, C, and even D) but now I'm learning some others, and some of the transitions are hard. Like between G, G7, D, D7, C, and C7.
Are there any exercises that I can do to make these easier, or do I just annoy my neighbors and play G - D7 (etc) over and over until I get it right every time?

i like playing songs. So i pick playing songs that have those chords in em. Just remember to go slow at the start then speed up eventually but i think practice is the real winner, less important is how...if your doing it right off course!
WWSD? What would stevie do?
