Actualy this thing (fretting against pickups) usualy have different pitches on different guitars, due to different scales , pickup positions , wether they're singles or humbuckers , their hight from the surface of the body...

You can get similar effect by harmonics , try the G string 5th , 4th & 3rd fretts , and have some fun with the tremolo..
this should work on any guitar (with a tremolo bar of course)
