As I mentioned in the previous post, the SM58 / 57 are fine, however if I can squeeze another 5% by using a nicer mic, well cool ! That is why I asked about the condenser mics. There is probably a reason why major studios use them after all !

Would you play a $30 copy strat / LP or a vintage original given the choice ? It is possible (not probable) that the copy would be better but I know where Id go !

So, if anybody knows anything about these beasts please let me know.
