I think that either Martin, or Fender are the best companies for acoustics.
Rock and roll ain't noise pollution, but it can get pretty crappy these days.

Dude, yamaha is (i believe) the best make for acoustics. I have had this one for a year now, and i hate playing anything else, although my takamine can be tempting. Yamaha's are fairly cheap, but they pack a punch. i suggest them to my friends, and my best friend, who just got one, loves it more then i love my own. they have wonderful sound and are easier to play then most acoustics.

Also like i said, Takamine are very good as well but they can be more pricy.

either way, this is all in one mans opinion. so get what you want. As long as you love playing, then that is the most important thing.
