My boy Danny had the same problem with his carvin dc-127 i believe( http://www.dannydanzi.com by the way). He now plays almost exclusively his Carvin DC-400 custom which has sperzels and a locking nut. He has an endorsement deal with carvin guitars, go check him out, he's one of the best in the world. He hangs out on paltalk under the name majichands.
