Seems like there's a lot of different viewpoints on seven string guitars. My perspective on it was "Hey, my fingers are long enough that the extra width doesn't bother me, and if I feel like playing that low I can,". From what I hear though the seven string was actually first used by jazz guitarists to get a wider selection of chord tones out of their guitar. And zepo, I did forget about the twelve string. Oh well, we all make mistakes. And no, there is no hard feelings Istvan.
