I'm not quite sure what the model number is because it was a graduation gift. If you want to know what it looks like you'll have to go to Guitar Center, they're the only one's authorized to sell my particular model. As for the EMG pickups, why not? Unless all you want is a crisp clean tone EMG pickups are great especially for people like me (metal heads). And yes, I do reccomend getting an Ibanez, it's the nicest guitar I've ever played.
