Hey Mike, Looking at here comes the sun and can't figure out what strings your hitting on the very first part. I got the rake on 4 then next note and the other small rake and then the b string but after that I've slowed it way down but am still confused I just can't make out what your doing on the next few strings. I even printed off the tablature on it which I'm not understanding at all. tab shows after the small rake - high e 2 fret but then shows a 0 on the d string which would be an open chord and that's where I'm lost I don't see you going anywheres near the d string. I've re-run over and over at the slowest setting and am totally lost there. If you could help me past that spot That would be great. I keep hearing you hit a few notes there but I can't figure it out. Thanks Mike.

Hi there - the tab is correct - I am lightly picking the open D string at that spot. Then on the upstroke I'm picking the b string.
The key to strumming and picking this song is the steady and relaxed downstroke/upstroke motion. This is a bit of a difficult tune because you're combining chords with single note melodies, so be sure to go very slow at first. Once you start getting it correctly at a slow speed -- keep repeating it to burn it into your fingers and muscles.
Make sense? Let me know how it goes!
