I know this isnt really a guitar tricks post but, im trying to get a new distortion pedal that suits the pop/punk genre sort of music like lit and blink 182 and wondering which is the best sort of the distortion pedal. cheers

Well...its all up to personal taste...I might like one pedal and you will like another...but Boss ds1 distortion is good for any music and will be ur best friend.
also just mess around at stores till u find one you like
