Hi,

I am interested in seeing what inspire other people's music.

I am not talking whole songs but rather a specific parts that you really like for example:

https://youtu.be/jZXlsVmyRTk - on the chorus, I really like how at the 2nd repetition of the chord progression it suddenly switch in to a major chords. That to me create a very uplifting feeling

so what are yours favourite music parts?

I'm really into the surprising bits of a song. Off the top of my head, the synthesizer parts in "Rocket Man" from Elton John always perks up my ears!

I'm just going crazy when listening to the Muse. Especially, the part of their Supermassive Black Hole (01:06 minutes) on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pta-gf6JaHQ ninja source

Just can't sit still, seems like the whole inner flesh vibrates inside.

For me its always the eastern/ exotic notes in a song. or sometimes when a bend sounds eastern/ spanish.

example : Opeth Heir Aparent - has a Hunarian scale run or Tool Parabol
