Hey all! Well I just joined! I have always had a guitar for as long as I can remeber. But I never really got serious about it, yeah there were brief instances here and there. But nothing I ever stuck with. I would say I know open and can play barre chords (e formation) I know 1st position minor pentatonic, but can't make it very musical. I can't seem to connect positions 2.3,4 & 5. I have tried and had varying successes. But no light bulb, oh I got it moments. Basically in a rut.
im really looking to take my playing to the next level, hence me joining. To go from a open chord strummer (I try to sing too) to riffing in between chords and walking up and down to and after chords. And I don't know other places other than open and barre chord position to play chords. I see people playing non barre chords all over the neck and aim like what?!? Add the flat fifth and all that stuff....clueless.
Suggestion on where to begin?
