I've had an affinity strat (trading) last year and a Kramer Focus 111 as a project.
The neck is wider on the Kramer, and, from what i recall the Squier was slightly nicer to play, bearing in mind these are low range gtrs.
Of the two,for a beginner id say Squier...
but, my real answer would be a Yamaha Pac112,which i still have and is unbeatable as a beginner/semi pro "strat" type.

Nice neck for small hands too,Yamaha build quality and a humbucker at the bridge..Get one with a painted body as the bare wood finish is too soft, just my experiences..other people may have other views.
Accuracy,you say? hmm interesting concept..

Hey there.I am stuck between the 2.I am currently playing a Squier Telecaster and I love it,yes Ive taken some flack from friends over it as well.If you are searching for a good strat though, you could do alot worse then checking out Kramers Focus line. For the price of 1 Squier strat, you could get 3 Kramer strats. And besides that,Gibson owns Kramer. My friend has 3 and since they were so cheap,it doesnt cost so much to upgrade really. The choice is yours of course,it's all what feels right to you. But,if you do choose a Kramer, try the 422 booster upgrade for your Focus.
Hope Ive helped. But on the other hand,I love Squier as well. Both companies have great customer service though.Try it,you can always rteturn it,right.
Stand for something or you will fall for anything!
