Hello From Louisiana

Hello everyone. Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed my first week learning the guitar. Thanks Lisa for the lovely slow intro to building the chords.and strumming.

The fiddle is my first love and probably always will be, but I've always wanted to play guitar. Well, finally took the plunge and found a Yamaha dreadnaught in great condition on Craig's list.

My goals for guitar are modest. We're retired and enjoy traveling and camping. I'd enjoy just learning some mellow tunes to play around the campfire and possibly jamming with others at some point. I have this vision of eventually playing Aime by Pure Prairie League. Showing my age I guess :)
