Just want to say, awesome courses!
I am confused a little on the Verse part when watching the video and comparing the notation. For example, the F# looks like you pick the 3rd fret of the G string going down, but in the video it looks like you skip that and just go E -> G -> back up with High E.
Maybe I am just not hearing it correctly, but any help would be appreciated.
Hey great question - please watch my explanation for the deviations in the picking at around the 9 minute mark of the Verse lesson.
My recommendation is to learn the consistent part I teach in the breakdown section (see around 3:20 of the Verse lesson) and play along with my "slow plays" at around the 10 minute mark of the Verse lesson.
Once you get it under your fingers, you can experiment with some of the variations I outline at the 9 minute mark of the verse lesson - bringing it closer to the approach he uses on the original recording.
