Just want to say 'hi' and looking forward to learning and sharing progress with everyone. I'm British, 61 and have been 'playing' guitar for a while but only for my own amusement. I was lucky enough to be bought a Fender Stratocaster for my birthday so joined GuitarTricks in a determined attempt to learn how to play better and justify having such a great present.

Hope to get to know some of you a bit better and improve my guitar playing. Here's a picture of the guitar in question. I also have a Tanglewood acoustic and I'm looking for a decent amp for home use
