Hi everyone. My question is that: How to practice barre chords? What is the best and most effective way to master these chords?

on the bare chords (esp with the minor chords) with the root on the 5th string, I find it easier barring all 6 strings and just strumming the 1-5th strings, instead of barring strings 1-5t ans muting string 6. Is this bad form?

Hi, I do that as well and found it to be quite natural. I don't seem to have an issue accidentally stricking the 6th string.
