Just Starting Out
Ok,I guess I can't even say I'm starting out yet.Right now I'm saving up my money.I've only got about 50.00 right now but I'm well aware that acoustic guitars cost much more than that.I was wondering, does anyone out there have an idea of what brand of acoustic guitars are out there for beginers and are quality? My price range is between 100$ and 150$

Takamine makes a good acoustic somewhere in that range. I think I paid around $225.00 for mine at guitar center a couple of years ago. I would just shop around and ask questions. You can find a good beginner acoustic in that range. I would visit pawn shops also. If you're interested, I've got a blue Jasmin with a case for $200. it has a good sound.

I've got an Epiphone acoustic. My Dad picked it up for $150 I think, but that was wholesale and 28 years ago. Still its a good guitar, the actions a little high though.
And God said, 'Let there be rock!'

I would reccomend a Yamaha, because they're cheap and work. Also, if you have any relatives or friend that play, try to bum a guitar off them.

I'm not connected in any way with Guitar Trader, but I do subscribe to their newsletter. They're selling Epiphone beginner sets, (guitar, practice amp, and gig bag), that list at $US519 for $US169! Click the link, and then e-mail for the sale price.
They have SG sets in black, and transparent red. They also have a black LP set
These aren't top-of-the-line guitars and amps, but at that price its probably the best deal a beginner could want.
