Hi all - not sure why it hasn't been asked about on here yet but maybe I'm looking in the wrong forum. Loop functionality is no longer 'functional' When I click loop A & B are together in the middle of the screen and I can't move either icon. Anyone else experiencing this? Tried on two computers (WIN 10 and WIN 7) and on my smart TV (where I do all my lessons) and none of them work.

[br]Thanks

I am having the same issue. Thought it was my laptop. But since others are having the same issue, it must be a problem with the website. I love that function. I want it back!!

Yep, same. Sat down to put in some quality time with my guitar, nothin' doin'. I don't always need the loop function, but I am learning a new song, trying to get my head around the solo and I really need the loop to work!!!

Checked this morning 1000 hrs New Zealand Time. Still not working.

I can move the A cursor all the way to the right, but the B does not move at all.I have to say that function greatly speeds my ability to work trough lessons, so i wish that they would get on it.I feel as though i lost a weekend of progress...I'm tryin to chill.

Still not working. Still no comment from anyone at GT. Would be good if they would aknowledge the problem and let us know they are on to it. I'm sure they are busy, but I would think this is a fairly high priority to sort out.

Loop function on videos seem to work very well. It is not a general problem on GT then. Have you tried the function with different browsers? Does using A and B keys work, or is it just the dragging the marks on the progress bar?

I have not had any trouble with the loop function. I tried it again this morning on IE 11 & Chrome on my Windows laptop. Both are working perfectly.

Anyone that is having trouble with it, please directly email GT support! I suspect it has more to do with individual user computers, browsers or settings.

After revisiting this thread yesterday I checked out a lesson in my list. Sure enough, the loop function didn't work, i.e., for me the AB tabs were frozen and could not be dragged/set.

Reading Christopher's response this morning I thought I would follow his suggestion and contact Support myself. I checked the same lesson one more time so that I could fully describe the symptoms and... the loop function worked. I checked another lesson and then another; the three lessons I checked all worked.

Is the problem solved for everybody?

Well, I got home last night and fired up the lesson I'm working on..... and the Loop function worked just fine. Had a good practice session and made some progress. Happy Days!

Hope it's not an intermittant fault. Will try again tonight.

Thanks for chiming in Christopher, yeah....strange how it manifested. I was worried it might be my server etc, but then there were multiple persons experiencing the same or similar glitch. I fired it up last night (NZ time) and it all worked as normal, same server, same song, same laptop PC, so......who knows!!

I've been trying to use the loop function. As a new user, it seems kind of important. It doesn't work. Same problems described in earlier posts. I am on a Mac using safari.

Have you got a response from GT Support, yet?

Hi there,

Early in February the video player was updated and that did cause a bug so that the looping function sometimes did not work. We have since fixed that problem and can confirm that Mac users using Safari should have the loop function working as normal.

Firefox and Chrome also works as normal.

If you have more issues, let us know by sending an email to admin@guitartricks.com

Best,

Billy
