how long do i practice

hey guys i am just getting started on learning cousin daves blues in the first round of core learning. how well do ineed to play this before i move on? how important is it to learn theses songs and scales?

Work through GF1&2 at a comfortable pace. Keep in mind that every lesson is designed to build on the next. Each concept or technique will be required to master the next. Remember that every lesson can be viewed & reviewed many times. So, move through them as you please, but you aren't done with any lesson until you completely understand the info & can competently do the skill.

It often helps to keep going forward to keep things interesting & fun. Just remember to make time to keep going back over any given lesson until you accomplish the above goal.

i can play several songs that i learned on my own but i feel like i still dont know anything..lol... if you know what i mean.
