I am learning gutiar and bought a cheap $80 guitar (ONYX) a few months ago. I can do most of the open cords o.k and when the Capo is on the first fret can do cord changes reasonably well and can play a lot of songs. When the Capo comes off it all goes wrong, it feels like my action is way to high and the cords buzz. My question, are more expensive guitars easier to play, is the action a bit better and do the gauge/quality of the strings make much difference?
