Thanks so much 'mruniverce'! Glad to hear you enjoyed my Van Halen Artist Study. I offer private lessons online here at Guitar Tricks and I'd love to work with you and share more VH style ideas. Here's the link with my available days and times:

If these times don't work, let me know what would be more convenient for you and I'll see if I can accomodate.

The private lessons are an additional fee. You can take one lesson or set up to be on a continuing basis. The value of private lessons is that I can give you immediate feedback on all questions and correct any issues you may have. Plus I can point out specific things that I may see you need to work on and get you exercises to develop your weak areas.
-Dave
To set up for my online lessons you'll need a computer with a web cam, mic, and speakers (most computers have all three of these) and a good internet connection. The rate is $40 for a half hour lesson and $60 for one hour and you can see my available days, times, and reserve your spot at the link below:

The combination of an occassional private lesson mixed with the large library of resources, songs, and tools on the Guitar Tricks site is a great recipe for success on your guitar. Plus a live instructor will hold you accountable and make sure you are advancing the most efficient way based on your level of proficiency.

Dave thanks for making guitar solo 5 look so easy! Gees....How can you stretch your fingers from the 12-5-10 13-5-10 so easy. I cant even stretch my fingers to get to that position much less play it.
Ahh, that 7-fret stretch is hard for me too (even though it looks easy) and thanks goodness we both will never have to stretch that far in a song! That's what tapping is for!
