Hi,

I am wondering if its possible to learn guitar, I shall be 70 in April. Always been a fan of guitar, Hank Marvin, Gary Moore, SRV and all blues guitarists. I have just bought a Vintage VSA535 semi acoustic guitar and a Vox AC15 vr amp, hoping these are good eanough to start me off. Wanted to learn for years, and now retired and heres hoping.

Hello and welcome to the Guitar Tricks community!

Over the years, I've seen so many people reach their guitar goals. Regardless of age, background, etc., there is hope for anyone if you stay consistent.

Usually most beginners start with the Core Learning System and work their way up to more advanced techniques. I think you'll do great if you start at the very beginning and then once you've got the foundation, you can skip around to other blues sections of the site.

We have a ton of blues songs, too!

It all starts with committing to daily practice, whether that is an hour to 10 minutes - every little helps.
