My name is Richard and I'm 68 years old. Over the Christmas holidays I decided to learn something brand new, and I always wanted to play guitar.... so here I am! I have started at the beginning and learning my way around the guitar. I look forward to interacting with other "students" and teachers and really get this going. I don't have any calluses yet so I'm feeling the pain.

Thanks for listening to my ramblings.

Hi Richard! Thanks so much for signing up. Don't worry, your fingers will soon feel better.

Keep us all updated on your progress and be sure to ask questions if you get stuck.

Welcome, Richard! I am a little more than a week into lessons and a month of fooling around on the guitar and my fingers are just starting to "harden up". They still get a bit tweaked if I practice over an hour or so and I am very much looking forward to that part being over.

Have fun and good luck!

Thanks Ben and Greg! Who says you can't teach and old dog new tricks?
