Hi. I'm a folk singer and I just finished the fundamentals section and I'm wondering where to go next. There's no folk section. I'd love to be able to elevate my original songs with embellishments and fills, etc, but I started on the country section and it didn't feel quite right. Maybe there's some more folksy, fingerstyle stuff later in that section? Could anyone check out my Youtube channel and tell me whether I should move on to Country, Rock or Blues? Thanks! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCY0hblCv_EgcDiJX7DECfmg?view_as=subscriber

I would suggest working on the blues stuff since it applies to almost anything for popular music. With that said, you may want to start picking through Lisa McCormick's stuff. Though there is a lot of stuff there, her style tends to be folk-oriented. Some of the technical lessons will broaden your scope of playing along with the songs she instructs.

Country Level One has a lot of material you could use as wee.
