Whiskey River

I hope I'm doing this in the right place. I'm new to the forums. I was hoping that your lesson "Whiskey River" was going to be the Willie Nelson version since the song download is his version. The song is more like the Johnny Bush original, and that's fine, great stuff to learn there from the classic old country. I was just wondering if it is possible to do a Willie Nelson version as well, especially the solos ala Trigger.

Hey there! That is indeed the studio recorded version from Willie Nelson, but I realize the live version is quite a bit different! Head on over to the Song Request Forum and be sure to leave your request there (be specific on the version you're looking for).
